Q: Are prints included in the session fee?
A: Prints are purchased seperately from the session fee. The session fee includes the photographer's time and talent only.
Q: How far in advance should I reserve my session?
A: I am typically booked 4-6 weeks in advance and at times even further out. I take an extremely limited number of sessions each month. It is never too early to reserve your session.
Q: Do you have an minimum order?
A:No. You should plan to invest $600-$2000 in your session with Emily.
Q: Do you sell image files with copyright release so I can print on my own?
A: Yes I do.
Q: Do you ever have any promotions?
A: Yes I do! Any promotions will be posted on my blog. emily's photoblog
Q: How much travel does your session fee include?
A: Travel for up to 35 miles one way outside of the Acworth/Kennesaw/Cobb County area. Contact me for your travel fee quote for areas that require further travel.
Q: Can I make a reprint order after my first order?
A: There is a minimum reprint order of $100. Only the proofs that were purchased will be kept on file for reprints for 6 months. Also, after your gallery expires, you will be charged current pricing which is subject to change at any time.
Q: How long will it take to receive my order?
A: Most orders will be ready in 2-3 weeks. Orders within my standard session area will be hand delivered. Orders outside of that area will typically be shipped via UPS or USPS. They will require additonal shipping to be paid. During peak times, all orders are typically shipped. Specialty items such as coffee table books can take up to 8 weeks.
Q: Do you print at a professional quality lab?
A: All prints are printed at a professional lab on professional Kodak art linen paper.
Q: At what age should I have my newborn photographed?
A: The first two weeks of life are the optimal age for sleeping, curled up newborn photographs. Tentatively reserving your session in the second or third trimester is best.
Q: What areas of Atlanta do you serve?
A: I serve the entire Atlanta area & even areas outside of the metro area. Your travel fee will depend on how far I have to travel to get to you. If you don't see your area listed, don't worry. Just contact me and I can give you your travel fee quote.
